CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN TO THE OPERA HOUSE – Out of respect for our customers children under four are not allowed at non-children specific shows. Infants are not permitted!
DRESS CODE – The Opera House does not have a dress code, casual attire is fine for all shows.
ALCOHOL – Yes, we serve beer, wine and mixed drinks
FOOD – We serve fresh coffee, homemade cakes and pastries, along with soft drinks and water.
HANDICAP PARKING – The Opera House is located in the historic district of old Mauch Chunk, built in the early 19th century, so parking in general is very limited. We try our best to accommodate you, but there is no guarantee that we can provide handicapped-accessible parking for all shows.
WHERE DO I PARK WHEN I GET TO TOWN – There is no parking at the Opera House. We recommend parking at our downtown parking facility behind the Mauch Chunk Train Station / Visitors Center. It’s by the park off of route 209. Parking is free after 5pm!
